Leopard Shoes

Today my sister and I went shopping in town to specifically buy these funky leopard print shoes from Primark. I saw them about a week ago and really regretted not buying them. So, after finding out I had £80 hidden away in some old savings account (result!) I decided that it was ok to spend £5, yes only £5. Actually, this whole outfit cost about £20. The jeans were a tenner off of Ebay and the bodysuit a fiver also from Ebay.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Glasgow these photographs were taken outside the Gallery of Modern Art. I absolutely love the building and the surrounding square. When it gets round to Christmas time again (I know, thinking ahead) I'll definitely do a post with all the Xmas lights here. They're so pretty! Hope you like the outfit and the photos!

Winter Walk

jumper - my dad's, leggings - h&m, boots- h&m

I think i'm finally starting to sort out in my head what I want to do with this blog. Or at least I'm finally working out what content I want it to have. Sorry if it has been a bit all over the place but I've just been experimenting. It's taken me a while to narrow down what it is you guys respond well to and what it is I actually enjoy doing. So hopefully from now on you'll see a much more focused, organised blog. Expect to see some of my illustrations soon too, just as soon as I've worked out how to scan!

Golden Armour

Dress - Primark, Necklace-urban outfitters

Just a post to show you one of my favorite new buys! As I stated in my last post, I'm a huge fan of all things jewellery and this necklace is just the ultimate piece of jewellery. It wasn't really the size (although I love that) or the color (I love that too) it was the armour-style chain at the front that really caught my eye. At £24 this was  not a cheap purchase, but, I plan on wearing it both day and night to get it's full worth.

Arm Candy

Bracelets- all gifted or second hand
plain tee - H&M

'ello everybody! Sorry for my lack of blogging and attention to my blog over the past week but it's been cold and I've been lazy. But I plan on sticking to my new year resolution to post 5 times a week from now on. You have permission to tell me off if you catch me skipping a few days. So, today I've decided to do a post about my love of jewellery. Specifically bracelets and cuffs. I generally don't like to dress crazy but I also don't like to be too safe. By putting bracelets on your arms it makes a plain tee look a lot jazzier. I think it's the easiest way to make you look as if you have put a lot of thought into your outfit. Mix and matching is the best way to do it. For example, I've never thought of putting my denim band with my cuff from Portugal (above) but I love it now!

At Kelvingrove

top, leggings, socks, boots - H&M
denim jacket, bag - vintage

I've been so ridiculously lucky to get a flat in such a good location. Glasgow isn't the prettiest city but there are some gems amongst the seventies grey buildings. And Kelvingrove is one of them. I've been wanting to do a post here for a while and I thought that it would be a great background to show of some of my new clothes and my lovely booties!

Birthday Boots

My favourite buy of the new year, so far, has to be my lovely new H&M boots. I normally avoid anything with a heel but these were just too beautiful to resist! Will definitely be wearing these in an upcoming post. Probably for my birthday celebrations!

Leather and Stripes

After a long, lazy break I'm back in Glasgow and back to normal day to day life. College starts tomorrow and I'm totally dreading it. However, being back in the city does have it's perks. My dad took me shopping for my Xmas and Birthday present (it was my bday yesterday!) and I got so many clothes! I'm wearing three new pieces today. A faux leather jacket, striped skirt and a basic tee. All are from H&M, of course. I'll be posting a lot more now I'm back in Glasgow and I've got my camera man back!

New Year Resolutions

(Jumper - Second hand, Skirt - Ebay, Bracelet - Topshop)

I've set myself quite a few New Year resolutions with a real determination to stick to them (I do this every year with little success).

- To attend and work hard at college

- Start running and eat healthier

- Post at least 5 times a week on this!

- Sort out money

- Get work experience in a fashion related job

- Don't leave everything until last minute (very important)

What are your new year resolutions? How do you stick to them?

Home Sweet Home

Argyll has some of the best scenery in the world and I just had to take advantage of it. So My sister and I decided to face the bad weather to get some photos of my outfit today. Ozzy the dog joined us too!
Two items of clothing that I wear regularly feature in this post. My lovely black maxi skirt, which has been in my wardrobe for many many years and has only recently become something i wear regularly. I've always loved to wear black clothes so completely covering my legs in it was clearly the next step (Morticia Addams style). My jazzy cardigan is one of my favorite pieces I own. I just love it! Much to Shaun's dislike. I bought it at Mr Ben's vintage shop in Glasgow last year and think it's been worn at least once a week since then. Everyone should invest in a really good brightly patterned cardigan, it won't let you down.

Oban Stories

Travelling home for Xmas was never going to be fun. It's a three hour bus journey, a five hour wait, a 1 hour boat and then a half an hour car journey. So both Shaun and I were not ecstatic about waking up at 6.30 to take this trip. However, when we arrived in Oban we actually had a surprisingly good time. I was wearing an old cashmere cardigan that I think belonged to my mum (possibly still does, apologies mum), some plum coloured jeans form H&M (where else?) and my old booties from Topshop that are completely destroyed but still comfortable! The weather was, of course, disgusting but I think it was the thought of being half way to our destination that kept us happy. Oh and the thought of Christmas! Now it's Xmas eve and the thought of dinner tomorrow is making me full already! Hope you're all having a great Christmas Eve so far!

Flashback: Paris

When everyone else was heading off to places like Magaluf or Ibiza, me and three of my friends decided that Paris was the place to be. I will never forget my first trip abroad without my family, it was just the best couple of days! So many stories and good times were formed on that holiday. We were lucky enough to be staying in the lovliest apartment and the weather was incredible. We ate great food (a lot of Boursin), drank a lot of wine (Very Pamp) and met some amazing characters (a scouser and a man who insisted I stroked his beard, to name a few). It's almost two years since we went on that escapade but I felt it appropriate to share with you some photos from the trip. Enjoy.

Baby it's cold outside

Had big plans today to go out and take loads of photographs but, since it's Glasgow, it was raining. Typical. So instead here's some photos of me indoors. I'm just wearing a simple sheer shirt and black leggings. I'm also wearing my little winter boots that haven't seen the light of day in about a year.
